Find My Time

IT and tech assessment

Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, set up right.

Most small businesses set up email and files once and never look again. Meanwhile you pay for licenses nobody uses, old staff still have accounts, and files are shared with people you've forgotten about. I go through it with read-only access and give you a plain list of what to fix.

Sound familiar?

  • You pay for licenses and aren't sure who has them.
  • Someone who left still has an account.
  • Not everyone signs in with a code from their phone.
  • Files are shared by link with "anyone."
  • You're not sure your email and files are backed up.

What I look at

Licenses
Seats nobody uses, people on the wrong plan, and what that costs you each month.
Sign-in
Who uses two-step sign-in, how many admin accounts there are, and who has them.
Sharing
Files and folders shared outside the company, and rules that quietly forward email somewhere else.
Backup
Whether email and files are backed up anywhere outside Microsoft or Google.
Built-in security score
Microsoft's Secure Score, or Google's own security checks, and which recommendations matter for a business your size.

What you get

  • A red, amber and green scorecard you can read in a minute.
  • License savings, in dollars a month.
  • A fix list, in order, with the ones you can do yourself marked.
  • Each finding in plain English: what it is, and what happens if you leave it.

A lot of these fixes are settings, not purchases. What you need is often already in the plan you pay for.

How it works

  1. Free 15-minute call (optional)

Tell me what's worrying you. If this review is the right one, I'll say so. If it isn't, I'll tell you that too.

  2. What I need from you

Read-only admin access for the review. I can look but not change anything, and I remove the access when we're done. You can check that I did.

  3. I do the review

I go through everything against a checklist, and I check every finding myself before it goes in the report.

  4. The written report

A red, amber and green scorecard up front, then each finding in plain English: what it is, what happens if you leave it, and how to fix it.

  5. Review call, 30 minutes

We go through it and decide what to fix first. Do it yourself from the list, or I'll fix it at a fixed price and credit the review fee toward it.

Straight answers

I won't tell you you're "secure." No one honestly can. I'll tell you what I found and what I'd fix first.

Fixes are a separate project at a fixed price, with the review fee credited toward it.

Can you change anything with read-only access?

No. That's the point. I can see the settings but not change them.

We use both.

That happens. Tell me on the free call and I'll scope it.
