Sound familiar?
- Your card statement has charges you don't recognize.
- Two tools do the same job.
- You're paying for seats for people who left.
- An annual renewal caught you by surprise.
- Nobody knows who owns which account.
What I look at
- Every subscription
- Each one, what it costs a month and a year, and who uses it.
- Overlap
- Tools that do the same job, and which one to keep.
- Unused seats
- Licenses for people who left or never logged in.
- Renewals
- When each one renews, and which ones lock you in for a year.
- Ownership
- Whose login and whose card each account is on.
What you get
- A full list of what you pay for, by month and by year.
- What to cancel, combine or downgrade, and what you save on each.
- A renewal calendar, so nothing renews by surprise.
- The total: savings per month and per year.
Software you pay for and don't use has a name in the trade: shelfware. Almost every business has some.
How it works
- Free 15-minute call (optional)
Tell me what's worrying you. If this review is the right one, I'll say so. If it isn't, I'll tell you that too.
- What I need from you
Card and bank statements, or an export from your accounting software. No logins needed.
- I do the review
I go through everything against a checklist, and I check every finding myself before it goes in the report.
- The written report
A red, amber and green scorecard up front, then each finding in plain English: what it is, what happens if you leave it, and how to fix it.
- Review call, 30 minutes
We go through it and decide what to fix first. Do it yourself from the list, or I'll fix it at a fixed price and credit the review fee toward it.
Straight answers
If you want help moving off a tool or combining two, I'll quote it at a fixed price, with the review fee credited toward it.
Do you need our passwords?
No. Statements or an accounting export are enough.
How does the share-of-savings option work?
Instead of $499 up front, I take a share of the first year's savings. We agree the share in writing before I start.
